DIANE CLARK -- DIRECTOR
In 2017 and 2018 Diane Clark was director of the Cherry Capital Men's Chorus (Traverse City. MI) of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Clark is a Certified Director in Sweet Adelines International and served as director of the Grand Traverse Show Chorus (Traverse City, MI) from 2006 to 2011. She was also Associate Director of the Memphis City Sound Chorus in Tennessee from 1996 to 2001.
DIANE CLARK -- SINGER, COACH, EDUCATOR
Clark has been a member of Sweet Adelines International since August 1, 1992. In the fall of 2017 she received her 25-year pin and was inducted into the Silver Ribbon Gang of Border Lakes Region 2. In 2018 she became a Life Member of the organization. In Tennessee she sang with the Memphis City Sound Chorus from 1992 to 2001, and served as their associate director for five years. Clark sang two summers with the Metro Nashville Chorus, with whom she won the international Harmony Classic small chorus championship in 2006. She cruised the islands with the Harmony in Hawaii Chorus in 2008 and has toured France (2012), Italy (2014), South Africa/Zambia/Zimbabwe (2016) and the Rhine River -- Switzerland/Germany/France/the Netherlands (2018) with the Harmony Travel Chorus (formerly known as Tropical Harmony Chorus).
Clark was a member of the Sweet Adelines international faculty for ten years, and taught classes and PVIs for several years at the International Education Symposium. She has also served as guest faculty for numerous regional education weekends. She served as Education Coordinator and DCP (Director Certification Program) Coordinator for Heart of Dixie Region 23. She continues to work as a coach for female and male barbershop choruses and quartets throughout the United States and Canada, and she coached six South African choirs at the Tropical Harmony Chorus's festival workshop in Soweto, South Africa, in 2016.
Clark also teaches PVIs (Personal Vocal Instruction) and coaches quartets via Zoom, and she accepts payment via PayPal or by check received prior to the session. Rates are $35 per half-hour for a PVI and $70 per hour for quartet coaching.

Clark studied for two years as a scholarship recipient in the SAI International Music Arrangers Program (IMAP), and is grateful for the mentorship of Barbara McNeill, Marge Bailey, Lorraine Rochefort, Kay Bromert, Lynnell Diamond, and IMAP mentor June Berg. For several years she served as Arranger Certification Program Coordinator for Border Lakes Region 2. Clark offers an extensive list of barbershop arrangements for sale.
